Job Description
We are partnering with a world-class manufacturer and systems integrator specializing in the development of complex medical and diagnostic instrumentation. With more than 40 years of proven experience in regulated industries this company is recognized for delivering full-lifecycle design and development services from concept to manufacturing.
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Program Management to lead a global PMO organization. This role will drive execution discipline across high-value cross-functional development programs involving hardware software and system-level integration. Key Responsibilities
Lead and scale the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting multidisciplinary medical product development
Establish and evolve PMO governance tools and execution frameworks
Drive complex programs from concept through engineering pilot build and transfer to manufacturing
Oversee schedules resourcing and budgets for high-complexity programs
Coordinate across global teams and engineering centers to ensure milestone success
Act as a strategic business partner to R&D Engineering Operations and Commercial leaders
Monitor and report KPIs and program health dashboards to stakeholders
Lead program risk management issue escalation and cross-functional resolution
Present program status and strategic updates to executive leadership
Foster a high-performance culture of accountability ownership and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
10 years in program or product management in regulated or complex product development environments
Demonstrated success in leading large automation projects integrating hardware software
Proven experience with pilot builds and transition to manufacturing
Experience managing global or distributed teams
Deep knowledge of product development lifecycle (concept through launch)
Proficiency in program tools like Smartsheet MS Project Jira Confluence
Strong budget and resource management skills
Background in medical devices diagnostics biotech or regulated life sciences strongly preferred
Bachelors degree required; PMP or equivalent certification a plus
Experience standing up or scaling a PMO function in a growing organization
Executive-level communication influence and leadership skills
