Location: Remote but travel to client sites in eastern zone whenever necessary

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Owner to lead the implementation and adoption of AI-enhanced data product development capabilities across our enterprise product teams. This role will drive the transformation of how our organization builds deploys and manages data products by leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to accelerate development cycles while maintaining the highest standards of quality security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

AI-Enhanced Development Leadership

Lead the implementation of AI-powered development tools and methodologies across 15 product teams

Drive adoption of intelligent code generation automated testing and AI-assisted development workflows

Establish best practices for AI-enhanced data product development lifecycle management

Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize AI tool integration and developer productivity

Cross-Functional Product Strategy

Define and execute product strategy for AI-enhanced development platform serving 380 data engineers

Work closely with Consumer Banking Investment Banking and Risk Management teams to understand unique requirements

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI-enhanced development capabilities

Manage product roadmap balancing innovation with operational stability and regulatory compliance

Enterprise Transformation Management

Lead change management initiatives for AI tool adoption across global development teams

Develop training programs and enablement strategies for AI-enhanced development workflows

Measure and report on productivity improvements quality enhancements and business value creation

Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice development across product teams

Stakeholder Management & Communication

Partner with senior leadership to communicate AI transformation progress and business impact

Collaborate with Architecture Security and Compliance teams to ensure AI implementations meet enterprise standards

Work with external technology vendors and AI platform providers to optimize tool capabilities

Present to executive stakeholders on product performance metrics and strategic recommendations

Required Qualifications:

Essential Experience

5 years as Product Owner or Product Manager in enterprise data/analytics organizations

Demonstrated experience implementing AI development tools (GitHub Copilot AI coding assistants automated testing platforms)

Proven track record accelerating software development cycles through AI/automation technologies

Strong understanding of data product lifecycle from requirements through production deployment

Experience managing complex technical products across multiple engineering teams 50 developers)

Technical Knowledge

Deep understanding of modern development practices (CI/CD DevOps agile methodologies)

Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their impact on developer productivity

Knowledge of data engineering technologies (Python SQL cloud platforms data pipelines)

Understanding of automated testing quality assurance and deployment automation

Experience with developer tools IDEs and software development lifecycle management

Enterprise & Industry Experience

Large enterprise experience 10000 employees) with complex organizational structures preferred

Financial services industry knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX PCI DSS Basel III) highly valued

Experience with enterprise security compliance and governance frameworks

Understanding of risk management and audit requirements in regulated industries

Global team management experience across multiple time zones and cultures

Advanced Experience

AI/ML background with understanding of model training deployment and governance

Consulting experience implementing technology transformation at multiple organizations

Vendor management experience with AI platform providers and technology partnerships

Change management certification or formal training in organizational transformation
