Job Description

Job Title: Planner
Department: Project Team
Category: Contract-based / Shutdown

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Total Experience: 6–8 years
  • Turnaround (TA) Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Specialized Skills:
    • Turnaround (TA) planning experience in Petrochemical Oil & Gas plants.
    • Proficient in planning tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
    • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in SAP PM Module.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Planner will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):

  1. Plan & Schedule Preparation: Collaborate with QatarEnergy to prepare TA plans and schedules.
  2. Schedule Management: Update schedules regularly and identify potential problem areas.
  3. Reporting: Generate and submit daily status reports to QatarEnergy.
  4. Documentation & Consolidation: Manage all measurement and variation sheets.
  5. Approval Management: Obtain necessary approvals for Variation Sheets Additional Job Forms etc. ensuring smooth job flow.
  6. Manpower & Record Management: Maintain data on manpower histogram TA records including NCR copies Pre-Inspection checklists IPF copies etc.
  7. Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide any additional data as required by QatarEnergy.
  8. Deliverable Preparation: Prepare all required deliverables as part of the Planning Team for QatarEnergy.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Fully fluent in English.
  • Must have SAP experience.
