Beethoven at Home is looking for passionate piano teachers to join our Toronto community. Whether youre in Etobicoke downtown or anywhere across the GTA we help you connect with families who truly value exceptional music education.
Toronto families are serious about piano lessons. From Leaside to Liberty Village from Richmond Hill to Mississauga - parents here invest in quality instruction for their kids. And theyre looking for teachers like you.
What Youll Do (The Fun Stuff):
- Teach piano your way - we trust your expertise and training
- Work with students who actually want to be there (thanks to our matching process)
- Help kids prepare for RCM exams recitals and competitions if thats your thing
- Build real relationships with Toronto families who appreciate great teaching
- Focus on music education while we handle the business side
What We Handle (The Not-So-Fun Stuff):
- Finding and screening students
- All billing and payment processing
- Scheduling coordination and family communications
- Marketing your expertise across Toronto
- Simple monthly reporting (seriously its easy)

Requirements
What Were Looking For:
Youre passionate about piano and it shows. You genuinely care about your students musical journey and get excited when they nail that tricky passage or finally "get" a new concept.
You have the credentials. RCM Grade 10 Piano minimum but wed love to see your ARCT or university music degree (. .). Got a Masters or higher We can fast-track you straight to our Principal tier with better compensation.
Youve taught before and loved it. Whether its kids just starting out or adults returning to piano you know how to adapt your teaching for different ages and skill levels.
You think like a professional. Youre reliable you communicate well and you can manage your own schedule. Basically you treat teaching like the serious profession it is.
Youre great with people. Parents love chatting with you kids feel comfortable in lessons and you can explain complex musical concepts in ways that actually make sense.
Youre Toronto-based or GTA-friendly. You have your own studio space or youre happy to travel around the city for lessons. (We do have online students too but with 1500 teachers already were really focusing on in-person instruction right now.)
You want to grow. Youre not just looking for a few students - you want to build something meaningful in Torontos vibrant music scene.

RCM ARCT, bachelor's degree or performance diploma preferred. We will work with students pursuing a bachelor's degree at a recognized music school In certain cases of pop/rock songwriting and rock instruments, we will evaluate other qualifications. Persons without status, work permits or located out of the country will not be considered.Education
