Supervisor of Business Services

Full-Year Salaried Position

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in accounting or finance public school or other governmental accounting experience preferred.
  • Three years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and communicate effectively both verbally and through writing.
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger and all financial records of district
  • Analyze the districts trend data
  • Prepare Food Service budget
  • Verify transactions and their recording by business office support staff
  • Oversee cash and investment activities in accordance with district policies
  • Prepare financial and other reports as required
  • Coordinate outside audits
  • Provide overall leadership and prepare evaluations for business office support staff
  • Maintain a continuous internal auditing program for all funds
  • Supervise payroll benefits purchasing accounts payable
  • Oversee the preparation of State and Federal reports
  • Reconcile all bank accounts maintained by the Board
  • Maintain a fixed asset inventory system
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
