Entering the business to business (B2B) market is one of Amazons most exciting growth opportunities and since launching in 2015 Amazon Business (AB) already has more than 6 million customers WW. We are growing fast and require talented finance professionals to help us scale.
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key partner in driving the financial management for the Amazon Business IT Services team- a BRAND NEW initiative! As AB evolves to serve larger Enterprise level customers offering services to complement the products we sell is crucial to capturing additional customer spend and driving growth.
The successful candidate will need to be capable of building bespoke financial models that enable an understanding of incremental growth profitability and ROI for this newly launched initiative. Input data can vary based on different AB customers set and thus the successful candidate will need to be comfortable with a high level of ambiguity while balancing multiple competing priorities. This role also requires the ability to innovate as there is an opportunity to develop controllership mechanisms to audit and understand the performance of this initiative once launched. Finally the role requires the capability to clearly articulate the financial aspects and takeaways of their analyses to influence senior leaders.

- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelors degree
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
