Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Leidos is seeking a candidate to fill a Junior System Administration position supporting DISAs GSM-O contract at Scott AFB IL. The System Administrator is responsible for protecting DISAs information and information systems from unauthorized access use disclosure disruption modification perusal inspection recording and destruction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate must be able to work independently to maintain the smooth operation of a multi-user computer systems including coordination with customer and other administrators.
Communicate policies and procedures to customers
Update digital systems to provide insight to ongoing efforts and tickets
Monitor alarm systems
Perform basic level system administrator duties.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Creates maintains and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.
Provides support on a M-F business hours schedule also responsible for on-call extended hour and weekend support as required by mission or emergency situations.
System monitoring using installed tools as well as external tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
HS diploma and 1 year of overall related experience or educationin lieu of experience
1 year of experience in customer service environment
Must hold an active US Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS clearance
Hold an active Sec certification
Basic Understanding of Scripting Languages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Additional training education or certification in IT related programs
Experience with a ticketing system
Experience working with virtual environments.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50050.00 - $90475.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
