Facility Security Officer (AFSO) for the Raytheon Marlborough MA location to also include an offsite location in Sudbury MA. This position will assist with the implementation of all aspect under the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117 National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Reporting to the Facility Security Office / Security Manager at our Marlborough MA location. You will have exceptional time management prioritization abilities and ability to achieve goals and targets while performing multiple tasks as well as strong oral and written communication skills in order to succeed in this position.
What You Will Do
- Daily oversight of a complex classified facility that requires working knowledge of a Security Education Program and Briefings Badging / Visitor Control Office Administration and Document Control.
- Administer the company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
- Closely work with other security cores. Including Physical Cyber Security Business Partners and Special Programs where needed.
- Assist in collaboration with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
- Provide guidance subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and 8 years of related Security experience.
- Hiring manager will accept in lieu of degree commensurate years of relevant work experience. Typically includes 4 years relevant work experience and an additional 8 years of professional experience.
- National Industrial Security Program experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value

- Work experience interacting / working with Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency and/or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel as well as varying levels of senior leadership.
- FSO Certification for a classified possessing facility
- Active and in-scope Top Secret US clearance.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
