What we are looking for:

A dynamic and enthusiastic Officer to join our fast-paced Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLs) team. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the effective administration and co-ordination of the processes and systems that support the Councils objectives as outlined in the Mental Capacity Act and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

Responsibilities:

Supporting key statutory social care processes and the management of complex data for statutory returns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Providing a responsive first-line service to effectively respond to queries by service users and their family members/advocates care/nursing homes hospitals and other professionals.
  • The processing and recording of all stages of DoLS authorisations in line with DoLS legislation.
  • Managing the allocation of Best Interest assessors Doctors and Relevant Persons Representatives.
