Job Description

The Job Mission
This role sits at the heart of electrical construction delivery on site. Youll oversee LV installation power earthing and temporary electrical support. Youll work to BS7671 and The Electricity at Work Act ensuring safety and compliance every day.

  • Lead electrical build delivery to strict safety quality and time standards.
  • Supervise LV installations power earthing and temporary power on site.
  • Coordinate with logistics quality surveillance and project control teams.
  • Maintain daily site logs escalate risks and issues promptly.
  • Attend prestart briefings and PLOD/PLOW meetings reporting outcomes.
  • Perform safety and assurance inspections in line with HSPI requirements.
  • Recommend temporary mitigation measures and enforce corrective actions.
  • Liaise daily with Construction Delivery Lead and Senior Manager.

 


Qualifications :

 Essential Skills

  • Electrical engineering or construction management qualification.
  • BS7671 18thEdition certification.
  • Proven experience delivering construction sequencing and recovery planning.
  • Solid knowledge of CDM Regulations and compliance obligations.
  • Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills.
  • SMSTS or IOSH qualification.
  • Capability to energise and align contract partners.
  • Strong organisational skills managing multiple priorities.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with BS7375 electrical distribution on sites.
  • Background in power generation newbuild projects.
  • Prior work on large nuclear plant construction.
  • Experience in site logistics and authority condition closeout.
