Job Description
KRG has partnered with a well-established global supplier looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer. The Engineers primary role is responsible to improve plant performance and profitability through optimization of engineering effectiveness.
Duties Include
Duties Include
- Engineer and design modifications to improve production and reduce maintenance costs
- Direct and coordinate major overhauls and rebuilds to improve quality and yield
- Communicate and coordinate equipment maintenance requirements and activities
- Oversee preventive maintenance activity
- Coordinate with contractors on design and implementation of new equipment
- Maintain equipment to comply with local state and federal government and insurance company regulations
- Direct and coordinate bargaining unit employees as required
- Promote safe and healthy workplace
- Ensure optimal labor relations by adhering to the contract and Company policies
- Participate in continuous improvement of ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISOIATF 16949 programs and procedures though active participation in the near miss program
- Handles containerizing and labeling universal wastes
