Job Description
Role: Systems Engineer
Location: Little Ferry NJ
Duration: 6 Contract
Summary Of Position:
- Briefly summarize the primary purpose of the position. Under the general supervision of the Manager Information Technology is responsible for supporting company IT operations and procedures which includes supporting desktop/laptop computers servers peripheral equipment LAN and WAN connectivity telecommunications equipment and providing support for users software and hardware needs.
Major Activities And Responsibilities:
- 50% will focus on IT infrastructure Projects (Networks Servers Cyber Security VoIP Audit IT Asset Management/Tracking).
- The other 50% of your time will focus on helpdesk/desktop support.
Job Description:
- Works with stakeholders in all levels of an organization
- Accountable for successful planning execution and closure of assigned projects/tasks
- Work Independently and in a team based environment Coordination negotiation and persuasion skills
- Problem Solving Vendor management Business Acumen
- Appropriately escalates for feedback and resolution on key decisions risks and issues for assigned projects/tasks
- Installation and configuration of Windows Servers both physical and virtual
- When necessary will be tasked to help out with all aspects of the IT Department which may include: Providing Helpdesk/Desktop support IT Inventory/Audit/Compliance. Break/Fix/Imaging of users machines racking and stacking IT equipment
