Description
Toth and Associates Inc (TOTH) is currently seeking candidates for a Civil Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan design and manage various civil engineering projects re: site development stormwater management wastewater systems potable water systems and/or transportation.
- Responsible for overall management of projects from design through construction administration.
- Interact with clients to manage project development.
- Monitor/control active projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Mentor direct and review technical work of design team personnel junior engineers and other resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
- Two years of experience in a Civil Engineering-related occupation including experience in each of the following:
- Engineering consulting;
- AutoCAD (2D & 3D);
- Civil engineering design software Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit;
- Financial analysis of civil engineering projects including estimation and costing and preparing breakdown of costs;
- road construction projects including pavement retaining walls drainage and culverts;
- Client communications including gathering requirements coordinating with client and local government regarding permitting and site visits; and
- mentoring directing and reviewing the work of other staff on technical assignments.
