Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES TASKS AND AUTHORITIES):
- Lead and execute storage migration projects from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions.
- Provide Level 3 support for Huawei storage environments including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Design implement and manage Huawei storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute storage migration strategies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform storage capacity planning performance tuning and optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for storage configurations processes and procedures.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in storage technologies
MANDATORY
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering with a focus on Huawei storage solutions.
- Proven experience in migrating from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI FC NFS CIFS) and storage management tools.
- Proficiency in Huawei storage products including OceanStor Dorado and FusionStorage.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in Huawei storage technologies are a plus.
