As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) youll be supporting the delivery of and play a vital part in the implementation and support of our integration environment and Azure apps enabling us to transition into a global business including responsibility for the maintenance development and enhancement of the system at a technical level for us to stay ahead of the game.
What youll be doing
As part of your role your responsibilities will include:
Engineering
- Build maintain enhance and deploy front-end and back-end applications according to companys
- software engineering standards and aligning these to industry standards and best practices.
- Unit-test all software artifacts.
- Maintain current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies.
- Collaborate with Architects Software Engineers Quality Engineers and Product
- Manager teams in developing testing and deploying software components.
- Provide support to business for software deployed into company eco system.
- Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
- Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLAs are met.
Technical Leadership
- Management of the implementation of technical solutions.
- Transfer of business and technical knowledge to the greater team.
- Technical guidance and mentoring of junior engineers.
- Focus on the integrity of the systems regarding quality stability and scalability.
- Contribute and provide expertise in the design development and implementation of the platforms
- ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Support to Software Engineering Team Lead
- Assist in code reviews.
- Assist in implementation of best practices coding standards and relevant methodologies.
Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture processes and workflows for transparency and future reference.

Essential skills youll bring to the table
- The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals
- Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
- Minimum of 7 years practical experience in the full software development life cycle as a software engineer or software developer.
- Demonstrates solid understanding of Software Engineering design patterns and/or methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles with a preference for experience in C# and framework.
- Proficient in multiple languages libraries & frameworks (e.g. C# JavaScript Angular React Vue NextJS)
- Demonstrated experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Proficient in working with Azure and related components i.e. AI Document Intelligence amongst others.
- Proficiency in Azure Web App development & Experience with Azure AD B2C for identity and access management
- Strong knowledge of Devops practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Demonstrates solid understanding of Software Testing fundamentals.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior developers.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to accurately estimate effort and take ownership for time management and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning tools for document processing
- Implementation and maintenance of Power Automate solutions
Desirable skills youve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets including odds calculation betting types and market trends
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests.
- Experience leading technical discussions and code reviews
- Experience as part of an Agile software engineering team.
- Computer Science related degree diploma or similar qualification in software engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Senior Software Engineer/Developer role
- Development and maintenance of self-service portals & Implementation of secure authentication and authorization systems with Azure AD B2C
