POSITION: Systems Technician
LOCATION: District Wide
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Assists teachers with integrating technology into curriculum and classroom instruction.
- Conducts staff development on various hardware and software topics.
- Assists staff in the delivery of student technology proficiency programs and applications.
- Provides computer and technical support for teachers in one-to-one and group settings.
- Inventories existing computers software and peripheral equipment.
- Attends additional training sessions and regularly scheduled coach meetings.
- Performs basic maintenance and troubleshooting on malfunctioning equipment and determines working and non-working equipment. Reports technology maintenance issues via technician trouble tracking system.
- Provides ongoing technical support for administrative technology processes such as Student Information System media automation PowerTeacher Gradebook etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to relate to a variety of diverse professional users and foster positive working relationships.
- Competence in the use diagnosis and maintenance in the current Windows and iOS. operating system and applications.
- Functional use of Microsoft 365 applications and Apple products.
- Familiarity with enterprise networks.
- High school diploma or GED; AA related degree is preferred.
- Hold a valid drivers license.
SALARY:
This is a 198-day position. Salary is based on the Technology Coaches Salary Scale
