Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Campus Compliance Officer the OEC Administrative Officer works independently to perform a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts. Requires knowledge of the University and departmental policies and procedures. Includes responsibility for executive office support executive scheduling committee meeting management notetaking event planning travel management and coordination with human resources and finance professionals.
This position requires proven administrative skills; ability to manage multiple issues with a capacity to prioritize responsibilities and manage deadlines; ability to work with confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal communication (including good writing and proofreading skills) diplomacy professionalism and organizational skills required. Advanced skill in Microsoft Word Excel. PowerPoint SharePoint Access and Outlook necessary. Proactive and independent approach to work; team player with a strong sense of ownership needed. Demonstrated ability to focus on details with accuracy.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $86500 - $129700 (Annual Rate).

The Office of Ethics and Compliance collaborates with the UCSF community and senior leadership to provide oversight and guidance to compliance functions across the mission is to foster a culture of compliance which leads to compliant and ethical behavior across all university functions and activities. The OEC organization includes the following units: Investigations Unit; Conflict of Interest Program; Export Control; Regulatory Support; Research Security and Research Integrity.
