About the role
The Service Officer is responsible for providing quality customer service to current and prospective students at all levels of study assisting with enquiries through all modes of services including Customer Relationship Management System e-mail phone calls and face to face.
You will:
undertake accurate and efficient data entry of all administrative forms;
accurately respond to student and staff enquiries;
ensure all enquiries responded to are accurately recorded and resolved in the Customer Relationship Management System and reflected in Student Management and Information Systems; and
provide assistance and advice to students with admissions and enrolment enquiries cashiering receipt and review of relevant administrative forms.
About you
You will demonstrate knowledge and experience in the provision of customer and administrative services such as drafting correspondence reports providing accurate advice and maintaining records filing systems and databases combined with the ability to prioritise work provide attention to detail meet deadlines and deal with confidential information.
You will possess:
the ability to deliver quality customer service;
computer literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
the ability to exercise initiative and work effectively both independently and co- operatively; and
an understanding of administrative policies and processes.
About you
You will have the ability to interact and establish working relationships with a diverse range of staff and students maintaining strict confidentiality. You will have demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to provide student advice research analyse interpret and evaluate information.
You will possess:
demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and achieve goals;
a commitment to deliver quality customer service; and
ability to maintain efficient and effective record keeping and filing systems.
