Job Summary:
As an Analyst at Rakuten Rewards you will be a key contributor in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance the customer experience. In this role you will work with large and complex datasets to uncover trends measure performance and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Product Marketing Engineering Operations and Partnerships to understand business challenges define analytical approaches and deliver impactful recommendations.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards conducting deep-dive analyses and supporting experimentation efforts such as A/B testing. Your work will help optimize user engagement improve partner performance and identify new opportunities for innovation. The ideal candidate is curious detail-oriented and passionate about leveraging data to solve real-world business problems in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather clean and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends patterns and actionable insights related to user engagement cashback activity and partner performance
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and business metrics
- Ensure the accuracy consistency and reliability of data by performing regular data validation cleaning and documentation
- Support A/B testing and other experiments to optimize user experience
- Identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes automate repetitive tasks and improve data workflows for greater efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker).
- Experience with statistical analysis and/or A/B testing. Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery)
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing loyalty programs or e-commerce analytics is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst Product Analyst or Analytics Engineer preferably in retail or e-commerce.
- Bachelors degree in economics Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills both written and verbal.

Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors including the skills qualifications and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
