Job Description
This position is responsible for all processes related to the degree conferment candidacy verification evaluating degree requirements to see if they have been met communicating results and awarding degrees. This position provides advice and technical assistance to students faculty and staff regarding the evaluation and degree conferral. Provides one to one customer support to students and campus partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to analyze and make recommendations to management for new or revised administrative and program practices and procedures for smooth and efficient office operation.
Knowledge of complex databases and technical skills sufficient to develop and accurately enter information into non-standard or advanced software.
Excellent customer service skills. Ability to effectively communicate and convey complicated information with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations.
Ability to provide prompt professional and accurate information to students faculty and staff through multiple modes of communication: email phone ticketing system in-person etc.
Ability to input data quickly and accurately checking input and output data for completeness accuracy and discrepancies.
Skills in obtaining organizing and drafting administrative materials for public information and office use.
Preferred Qualification
Associates degree or higher educational credential.
Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent problem solving and strong collaborative team skills.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on established guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology procedures and processes.
Professional experience in customer service.
Other Requirements
Work safely at all times which includes but is not limited to participating and completing all required safety trainings as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools equipment and personal protective equipment.

Academic Year: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Summer Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
