Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions successful applicants must be a US Person (US Citizens US Nationals lawful permanent residents asylees or refugees).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely perform laboratory tests following Lab Standard Operating Procedures and/or Design Engineer requirements
Accurately record data
Accurately report relevant observations
Prepare Lab Test Reports based on data and observations
Work in partnership with Manufacturing and/or Design Engineers to test products and/or components and help develop processes and fixtures
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma /GED
5 years of relevant experience
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of electrical theory and experience in the safe use of electrical test equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Good written and verbal communication skills
Safe use of basic hand tools
Proficient in soldering techniques desirable
Knowledge of programming controller based laboratory equipment desirable
Use of precision measuring tools calipers micrometer depth gauge etc. desirable
