About The Role

As the Senior Product Manager for Channels you will be responsible for developing and driving adoption of messaging channels used to communicate with leads and customers in Podium. This includes channels like website chat social messaging email and forms. Your goal is to drive adoption and maximize lead conversion from these high-value channels.

This role is both strategic and execution-focusedyou will own the vision roadmap and performance of Podiums messaging integrations ensuring that businesses can seamlessly engage with leads and customers across multiple platforms.

A major initiative will be launching new live chat and AI-powered messaging tools to help businesses capture manage and convert leads more effectively. Success in this role means building frictionless high-adoption messaging experiences that drive measurable business impact.

This position is based in Lehi UT and will require you to work in-office 5 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Define and evolve the vision for Podiums messaging integrations and lead conversion products. Identify areas for growth and innovation to ensure Podium remains a leader in multi-channel business messaging.
  • Zero to One Product Development and Ownership: Lead the launch and own the success of new live chat product working closely with design engineering and go-to-market teams. Ensure tight integration with Podiums inbox and AI agents while driving alignment with revenue goals.
  • Zero to One Product Development and Ownership: Lead
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing sales and customer success teams to ensure cohesive development implementation and support of chat tools. Act as a product evangelist internally and externally ensuring buy-in across the organization.
  • Customer Insights and Feedback: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and insights that will drive product improvements and future innovations.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage product and usage data to inform decisions and optimize performance. Continuously analyze product metrics and customer behavior to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • User Experience: Partner with the design team to ensure the chat tools provide a seamless delightful user experience that integrates well across web and SMS platforms.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Ensure the live chat product integrates effectively with AI-powered automation and agent tools driving customer efficiency and engagement.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate effectively with executive leadership demonstrating strong executive presence and the ability to influence strategic decisions through clear and compelling product insights and recommendations.

About You

  • 4 years of product management experience with a track record of successfully delivering web-based products ideally in SaaS or communication tools.
  • High agency and ownership with a willingness to tackle problems end-to-end learning whats necessary along the way to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced technical environments adept at working with cross-functional teams to drive product vision define requirements and guide projects through key milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and continuously optimize for growth and customer success.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering design AI and marketing teams to deliver high-impact products.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL and data visualization tools to drive data-informed product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product strategies updates and insights to a wide range of audiences including executive leadership.
  • Experience leading the development of new products from scratch with a strong bias toward action and execution in dynamic fast-moving environments.
  • A passion for driving customer engagement and helping local businesses succeed through innovative tools and experiences.
  • Enthusiasm for AI with a solid understanding of AI systems including autonomous agents and their practical applications.
