Job Description
EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER - PRIVATE LUXURY VILLA - RAMATUELLE
CANDIDATES BASED IN SOUTH OF FRANCE ONLY
About the Villa
The property is located in Ramatuelle it is privately owned and it is a second home. The property is 1500 m2 (interior) with 7 bedrooms and one SPA downsatairs.
The owners are NOT in the property all year round. Therefore they tend to use it mostly during the summers 3 consecutive weeks maximum and several long weekends.
This is a seasonal contract - CDD.
This is a LIVE OUT position.
We are therefore looking for a candidate who lives in the area.
The project
We are looking for one Experienced Housekeeper with strong skills in Service ready to start working as soon as possible.
The Client & Head Housekeeper are conducting a proper recruitment process to find the ideal candidate.
You will be joining a team of one Head Housekeeper a housekeeper (and a Head Gardener with two gardeners for the exteriors); you would be working as a team of 3 members for the interior part of the Villa.
Please Note: You will predominantly be doing Service but you will also be doing Housekeeping and Laundry tasks.
We are looking for passionate people who can deliver a high-end sense of hospitality.
- Candidates who are used to working on high standards who like to deliver the best quality service great team spirit would be appreciated
- Candidates who are looking to join a dynamic team with different kinds of personalities candidates who have a positive character discretion and a good balance between personal & professional personality would be preferred
- Candidates who understand that everybody works in a team and everyone collectively works towards giving the best satisfaction & service to the owners
- Flexibility is hence a key factor in this case
The focus of this position is to have an experienced and efficient Service & Housekeeping team. The members will contribute to enhancing and maintaining the standard of living of the owners in the villa.
For Service: (when needed and when the owners family and guests are in the Villa of course)
- You will be in-charge of meal services - the breakfast lunch and dinner services.
- Setting up and cleaning the dining table taking care of the ceramics the cutlery etc before and after the meals
- Discreetly serving the food and drinks as requested by the owners and also around the swimming pool area during he day
- Ensuring a discreet of services
For the Housekeeping:
- You will be in-charge of vacuuming/cleaning floors carpets surfaces etc.
- You will be in-charge of making the beds changing linens setting up the bedrooms and bathrooms etc
- You will be in-charge of cleaning/sanitising bathrooms showers toilets sinks and counter-tops
- You will be in-charge of replenishing toiletries towels supplies etc
- Ensuring the main areas as corridors living rooms are always dusted tidy and well organised in accordance to the owners habits.
For the Laundry:
- You will be in charge of all the clothes and linen when the family is in the villa and other household linen such as towels bathrobes bath mats bed sheets pillowcases kitchen cloth table cloth etc.
- You will be in charge of washing them and cleaning them removing possible stains drying them etc.
- You will also be in-charge of ironing the linen checking that they are in a perfect state before folding them in wardrobes or putting them on hangers in the dressings.
- You will be in charge of cleaning the wardrobes and the dressings.
- You will be in charge of putting the clothes and the linen within the proper wardrobes and dressings.
- You will be in charge of putting/changing the bedsheets on all the beds depending on the frequency given by the owners. The beds must always be immaculate and in a perfect state.
- You will also be in charge of contacting the dry cleaners for specific clothes that can not be washed by hand or in a washing machine but need specific treatment and ask them to come and collect them.
Most importantly we would like a Housekeeper who understands the habits of the owners and their way of living. It is important that you memorise their habits and their way of living.
Desired profile
- You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy at the same time.
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and likes to work in private households.
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or as a Housekeeper is MANDATORY.
- You are NOT allergic to cats you are animal friendly as there are animals on the property
- You are a multitasking person and flexible able to follow the processes that are already implemented and able to be reactive when facing something unusual.
- You are a smiling and positive person you respect confidentiality and you are trust-worthy and discreet. You have a positive attitude generally speaking and you have a great sense of human relationship communication comes with an ease.
- You are organized and you know how to prioritize your tasks during the day you equally know how to balance different rhythms especially winter/autumn compared to summer season and especially when the Villa is occupied/unoccupied.
- You are always on time and present well you make sure that your appearance is always clean and professional
- You MUST speak English. French is a plus.
- You MUST have a driving license & your own personal car as you can not access the Villa easily public transport option can not be considered.
- You will have access to the car on the property when you will need to go run errands go to the supermarkets etc.
- You DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD you are honest and trustworthy.
Salary : 4000 euros nets / month based on experience
Contract: Seasonal Contract (French Contract)
2 consecutive days off per week when owners are not in the property and not necessarily weekends during the high season.
