About this job
Have you spent the past two years working full-time in consulting investment banking or private equity/venture capital and are now looking for your next challenge Ready to move beyond analysis and take on entrepreneurial responsibility with tangible impact
Become a Junior Investment Manager in Munich in the Excellence & Innovation team and help shape one of the most forward-thinking investment platforms.
The client invests in startups that radically extend healthy human life with a focus on longevity biotech pharmaceuticals and healthtech. Their mission is to discover and collaborate with Europe s most visionary founders from the outset working together to build transformative companies that make a lasting difference in the fields of healthspan and longevity.
Location: Munich Germany
Type of contract: Permanent on-site
Your tasks include
- You will independently identify and evaluate seed and early-stage companies as well as founders and build a network of start-ups co-investors and experts
- For investment decisions you will conduct the necessary due diligence together with the team and analyze relevant KPIs data markets and competitors
- You continuously observe and analyze international markets and business models in the target segment both qualitatively and quantitatively
- You develop concrete investment offers
- You will negotiate contracts independently and in coordination with the management
- You will work on complex topics conduct research and present these in a structured manner to the management team
Requirements
- You have a very good degree in a natural sciences university and are among the best in your course
- You have one to two years of experience in consulting investment banking or private equity/venture capital
- Thanks to your quick comprehension and strong teamwork skills you will quickly find your way around new topics and projects
- Do you have an affinity for biotech deep tech or health topics perhaps even a personal enthusiasm
- Your technical understanding and flair for digitalization and technology trends complete your profile and enable you to support the implementation of your concepts
- If necessary you are willing to travel to our locations within Germany
- Fluent in German
