Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is a subject matter expert for reporting and analysis for the Finance department. This role works closely with executive leadership business leaders department managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful financial planning that drives business decisions and financial results with an emphasis on the US Wholesale business. This highly cross-functional role provides strategic decision support financial forecasting performance monitoring and business case analysis. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen a passion for data-driven decision-making and the ability to partner effectively with Sales Operations Planning and Executive leadership.

This role is based in Portland OR and requires a regular presence at our global headquarters (minimum three days per week)

Essential Functions

  • Serves as a strategic finance partner to Wholesale Sales leadership to evaluate revenue opportunities customer margins and promotional investments.
  • Supports forecasting budgeting and long-range planning cycles for the wholesale channel.
  • Develops and refines sales and gross margin models across customer accounts and product categories.
  • Monitors wholesale performance vs. plan and provide actionable insights on variances in revenue volume pricing discounts and returns.
  • Owns weekly/monthly wholesale sales reporting packages with clear storytelling and visualizations.
  • Tracks KPIs (e.g. sell-in/sell-through margin mix account profitability) and identifies risks and opportunities.
  • Builds ROI models for wholesale programs seasonal launches pricing strategies and trade terms.
  • Supports strategic projects such as customer segmentation and channel optimization.
  • Partners with Sales and Planning to analyze inventory health and revenue pacing.
  • Researches and answers questions and recommends solutions to problems.
  • Conducts ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in finance accounting or a related field
  • Five (5) or more years of related experience in an FP&A function

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Documented experience with e-commerce and wholesale functions is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of wholesale KPIs and retail math (pricing margins returns sell-thru).
  • Expert-level Excel skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication and analytical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including financial statement design
  • Proficient in MS Office including but not limited to Excel Word Access and PowerPoint
  • SAP and enterprise database experience preferred but not required
  • Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with business planning tools (Adaptive Anaplan TM1) and BI Tools (PowerBI MicroStrategy Looker etc.)
  • Strong project management planning and organization skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary:$108441 - $112000 yearly
This range represents the low and high ends of this positions anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience knowledge skills and location.
