Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients team at (2) Properties in Eagan (55123). The ideal candidate will have experience with boilers (boilers license required) and pools (CPO is required). This role is contract to hire (30-90 days before conversion).
This role will be working with (2) communities that 300 market rate units.
Salary: $25-$28/hour DOQ. This role is contracted and expected to go 30-90 days or can go contract to hire with the right candidate.
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM - with occasional weekends as needed.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
- Maintains the grounds assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
- Install repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
- Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
- Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains repair/replace leaking faucets remove/replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust/replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
- Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years experience in residential maintenance multifamily experience is required.
- Boilers license is required.
- CPO license is required.
- Preventative maintenance and completing work order experience is required.
- Unit turn experience is required.
- Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
- Have a valid drivers license and valid auto insurance.
