What You Will Do:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovativeData Platform Analystto join our data team. In this role you will be responsible for designing building and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible reliable and actionable.
Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality integrity and governance across systems.
Implement and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures.
Automate data workflows and reporting processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability.
Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Engineering or a related field.
THREE (3) or more years of experience in data engineering analytics engineering or similar roles.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.
Experience and understanding with data lake technologies
Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Apache Airflow Data Build Tool (DBT) Talend).
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse).
Strong programming skills in Python or Scala.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker).
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with real-time data processing (e.g. Kafka Spark Streaming).
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering.
