Job Description
C Spire is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst responsible for leveraging ERP data-primarily from Oracle ERP-to develop insightful reports dashboards and data sets that support the Accounting and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance enabling them to effectively collaborate with and be respected by accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret ERP data (Oracle ERP) to support financial reporting and operational decision-making.
- Design build and maintain dashboards and reports tailored for accounting and finance stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with accounting teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial data sets and reporting tools.
- Work with data warehouses and ERP systems to extract transform and load (ETL) data for analysis.
- Identify trends anomalies and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data requests from finance and accounting leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a data analysis role with a strong focus on financial or accounting data.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- 1 years of SQL
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with accounting professionals.
MUST HAVE: Data Analysis SQL ERP (preferrably Oracle) and financial or accounting experience
5 Days onsite- candidates can be located in Jackson MS- Nashville TN- Birminhham AL- or Mobile AL
6 Months Contract to Hire
