- Keeping games balanced by seating new players at the appropriate tables.
- Signing players up on the wait list if seats are not currently available.
- Calling players on the wait list in order to fill vacant seats.
- Establish business relationships with guests through excellent customer service by smiling making eye contact and attentively listening to guests needs while making a reasonable effort to accommodate.
- Answering phones in a polite professional manner.
- Answering guest inquiries in a polite courteous manner.
- Making regular announcements both in the poker room as well as the casino when seats are available.
- Making announcements in the poker room to apprise players of promotions.
- Assisting the Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor in conducting promotions by announcing rules giving status updates and announcing winners when applicable.
- Other duties such as assisting in maintaining a clean safe environment for guests and fellow team members.
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with hand-held microphones phones and computers required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must possess flexibility to bend and reach.
- Must be able to withstand noise for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to speak on the departmental public address system for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
