Human Resource Specialist

Location: Orem/Lehi UT

Status: Full-Time

Hours: MondayFriday; 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.

Pay/Salary: $45000$47000

Were seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join our HR team and help shape the employee experience from day one. From onboarding and background checks to employee communication and records management youll support a wide range of essential functions that contribute to a positive compliant and connected workplace culture.

What Youll Do:

Responsibilities of the Human Resource Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate background checks and ensure all required employment documentation is completed.
  • Assemble and distribute personalized onboarding packets including forms benefit details and job-specific information.
  • Guide new hires through the HRIS and introduce them to MTECHs procedures and culture.
  • Finalize employment setup including I-9 and E-Verify verification system access creation and HR recordkeeping.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g. IT supervisors) on employee start dates and technology needs.
  • Ensure accurate and organized employee records.
  • Contribute to recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and providing support to hiring committees throughout the selection process.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education Requirements: An Associates degree in Human Resources or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience: Two years of previous human resource experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs Sheets Slides etc.). Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) specifically UKG preferred.
  • Organizational Abilities: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with efficiency and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to accuracy and compliance with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to interact effectively with others.
