Were looking for a motivated people-centered HR professional to join our team! In this role youll take on a variety of responsibilities across talent acquisition compensation benefits training employee relations and special projectsall aimed at fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture. Youll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers alike providing guidance on HR operations employment law and helping to shape new programs that meet evolving business needs. By partnering closely with leadership and supporting day-to-day HR functions your contributions will help create an environment where everyone can thrive and do their best work.
What Youll Do:
Support various areas of HR like hiring benefits compensation training and employee relations.
Be a helpful resource for employees with questions about HR policies or procedures.
Work with managers to understand their teams needs and provide HR support that fits.
Offer guidance on HR best practices and help ensure were following employment laws.
Help develop and launch new HR programs and initiatives that support our people and goals.
Jump in on special projects and continuously look for ways to improve how we support our teams.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Minimum Requirement: High school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role providing HR support.
- Experience Exception: Bachelors degree with 2 years of HR or related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of multiple HR functions and processes.
- Some experience/working knowledge of principles and practices of HR systems and programs.
- Experience performing complex reporting and analyses; Workday experience preferred.
- Demonstrated competency and experience analyzing preparing and executing presentations related to HR Business goals.
- Demonstrated Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel) including Google Sheets Slides preferred.
- Proven performance in earlier role.
- Experience working with multinational companies preferred
- Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) and/or Employers of Records (EOR) preferred
- Experience working with outsourced payroll preferred
- SHRM-CP or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60320 - $105040 per year for the role of HR Generalist II.
