Job Description
Naylor Building Partnerships Inc. iscurrently seeking a hardworking service focused leader to join our team as an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will work out of our Oakville officelocation.
Duties:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department
- Planning and executing multiple projects to plan and budget
- Completing quotes for upcoming work and supporting the sales team
- Maintaining excellent customer relations resolving issues and concerns and act as technical resource to customer and field employees
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Supervising motivating and coaching field technicians and contractors
- Ensuring health and safety policies and company policies are adhered to
Requirements:
- Licensed Journeyperson (313A Refrigeration & A/C Systems Mechanic) with a Gas Fitter 1 license or a University degree/ College Diploma holder in a related field (i.e. Business Engineering CET)
- A minimum of 3 - 5years related industry experience (industrial commercial institutional) is required with previous supervisory experience considered an asset.
- Proficiency with MS Project MS Office (Excel Word and Outlook)
- Solid knowledge of government regulations and industry practices (i.e. OHSA codes etc.)
- Ability to read blue prints estimating experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to problem solve
- Candidates must have access to a car and possess a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
