The Commercial Engines Materials Solutions team has an impactful opportunity for an Associate Director New Materials Expediting. This newly created position will be responsible for leading the necessary expediting activity across the CE New Material team to satisfy critical requirements for the GTF aftermarket network. This involves coordination of materials activities across several disciplines within the New Materials team and in partnership with the Southern Logistics Center (SLC spares warehouse). This role will facilitate appropriate coordination and collaboration with the broader CE Operations organization to ensure priority hardware is expedited to the GTF network MRO overhaul centers for on-time engine assembly (gate 3) starts. The GTF programs are experiencing significant MRO growth rates with 30K returns targeted for a 45% increase from 2024 to 2025 followed by a 24% increase from 2025 to 2026; and the 24K programs targeted for a 65% increase from 2024 to 2025 followed by a 42% increase from 2025 to 2026. On-time delivery of material to the global GTF network is critically important to support these growth objectives and this new position will be a critical enabler to our success.
What You Will Do:
Accelerate material delivery to meet operational priorities for the GTF DAT network though the tracking coordination and communication of expedited material status/progress
Lead the daily punchlist sessions within the New Material team to addresses critical materials needed to complete engine overhauls. Facilitate communications and actions between the Delivery Assurance (DA) Allocation and Customer Account Management (CAM) functions
Effectively prioritize material needs in partnership with feedback from the global CAM network
Engage the Delivery Assurance team on critical part problem solving
Collaborate with the CAM and DA teams to engage the SLC and efficiently support customer commitments
Actively participate in 6-week look ahead reviews to support engine clearance
Identify and implement process improvements connecting the SLC with the New Material team
Monitor and drive critical material clearance through receiving inspection and prioritization of inspection lot closures at the SLC
Interface with SLC leadership to facilitate critical hardware receiving clearance

Qualifications You Must Have:
A University Degree and minimum 12 years experience in procurement operations and/or supply chain; Or An Advanced Degree and minimum 10 years experience
Experience managing complex delivery challenges across various disciplines

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD - 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
