POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking a Hockey Director for the Pegula Ice Arena that will create implement operate administer and evaluate the youth student and adult hockey program.
Primary responsibilities will be:
Oversee the learn to play hockey program
In-house hockey program
The Student Hockey league
Coordinate hockey tournaments for the facility
Work with the marketing manager of the facility to implement a marketing and promotions strategy for the program
Liaison with the local amateur and hockey associations
Develop and implement on and off ice specialty programs and clinics
Hire train and evaluate the hockey staff of the facility
Management and oversight of the facilitys hockey budget
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree 3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.SALARY & BENEFITS
