Job Description
TheExtended Day Care Director should have management experience and experience working with young children. In addition he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff.
Essential Functions
- Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
- Supervise aides in planning appropriate social physical and creative activities for the students.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for the students.
- Record daily student attendance.
- Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system.
- Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
- Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues schedule changes and general administrative matters.
- Supervision of day care staff members.
- Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
- Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance.
- Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.
Position Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field is preferred.
- MSDE childcare credentialing or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid and CPR certified.
- Excellent references.
Pay Range: $18 - $20/Hour
