Job Description
Salesforce Administrator
In-person in Orem UT
Nexio is a growing credit card processing company with 100 employees and an active sales organization. We recently implemented Salesforce and are looking to expand its capabilities to streamline our merchant onboarding and account management processes! We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Administrator/Developer to manage our existing Salesforce implementation while building custom solutions to support our credit card processing operations. This role combines day-to-day administration with development of complex integrations particularly with payment processors to automate merchant account onboarding and management.
Responsibilities
Administration & Configuration
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce org for 100 users across sales and operations teams
- Manage user accounts profiles permissions and security settings
- Configure workflows process builder validation rules and approval processes
- Create and maintain custom fields objects page layouts and record types
- Generate reports and dashboards for sales and operations teams
- Perform data imports exports and quality management
- Provide user training and ongoing support
Development & Integration
- Design and build custom applications for merchant account processing workflows
- Develop API integrations with external systems particularly payment processors
- Create custom Apex classes triggers and Visualforce/Lightning components
- Build automated processes for merchant application data loading and account boarding
- Implement complex business logic for underwriting approval workflows
- Develop custom buttons and actions to trigger external API calls
- Create data synchronization processes between Salesforce and external payment systems
Specific Project Examples
- Build merchant application data loading interface with custom fields and validation
- Develop approval workflow for underwriting team with status tracking
- Create one-click account boarding functionality that calls payment processor APIs
- Implement bidirectional data sync to capture and store processor account details (MID creation account parameters etc.)
- Build reporting and dashboards for merchant account lifecycle tracking
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Salesforce Certifications: Administrator certification required; Platform Developer I strongly preferred
- Development Experience: 3 years hands-on Apex SOQL and Lightning Platform development
- API Integration: Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs HTTP callouts and third-party integrations
- Configuration Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Sales Cloud including custom objects workflows and process automation
- Data Management: Experience with data imports validation rules and data quality processes
Industry & Business Knowledge
- Experience in financial services payments or B2B sales environments preferred
- Understanding of merchant account processing or payment industry workflows a plus
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience supporting sales teams and CRM optimization
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for working with business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy and system reliability
Preferred Qualifications
- Platform Developer II or additional Salesforce certifications
- Experience with major payment processor APIs or gateway integrations
- Knowledge of merchant underwriting and account boarding processes
- JavaScript HTML CSS for Lightning component development
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps and deployment processes
- Background in agile development methodologies
