Job Summary:
Our client a well-recognized organization in the education sector is hiring an Event and Media Coordinator to manage events media communication and social media presence. The role ensures that all outreach activities are well-organized and effectively communicated to members and the public.
Main Responsibilities:
Event Management:
- Organize various events such as conferences workshops seminars and community outreach programs
- Manage event logistics including venue selection catering AV needs and registration
- Maintain and prepare all FESC event photos on the organizations external drive
- Write and distribute press releases media advisories and other promotional materials
- Coordinate event execution: manage schedules speakers logistics and resolve any on-site issues
- Act as the main contact point for attendees vendors and media during events
Social Media Management:
- Create and post updates of all FESC activities on the Facebook page and Telegram channel
- Share important updates/news from MoEYS and other ministries with members
- Develop engaging and relevant content; respond to comments messages and inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with designers and team members to produce visually appealing materials
- Coordinate with other media outlets for press releases
- Attend events to take photos for official boards and updates
Website Updates:
- Develop and update FESC news/events including text images and multimedia on the website
- Coordinate with the IT team to implement website updates and improvements
- Other duties as assigned by the Secretary General and President
Main Requirements:
