About The Team

Our team guided by a commitment to truth-telling reconciliation and empowerment operates within the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor First Nations. We work collaboratively across the entire University to ensure the inclusion and success of First Nations students and staff. Our efforts extend beyond the University as we actively promote Indigenous knowledge and cultural inclusivity within the broader community. Together we strive to create a supportive and enriching environment for all.

Your New Role!

As the Lead Facilitator you will be instrumental in fostering the growth of students and staff by designing and delivering impactful events training programs and projects. Your role will include conducting regular cultural awareness and safety workshops. You will also collaborate with the team to provide integrated services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead develop and deliver the Universitys First Nations Training Programs for staff and students.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs through assessments surveys and feedback mechanisms.

  • Support the Senior Training Manager in initiatives to enhance access to higher education for First Nations people including high school students.

What We Offer You!

This Continuous Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $87K $94K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
