Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic EnglishConnect Learning Experience Intern to join our team starting in Fall 2025 for a 3-month full-time internship. This individual will play a key role in supporting the learner experience managing projects improving internal processes and supervising domestic student employees and international contractors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented curious and passionate about education learning design and user experience. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in project management user research team leadership program operations and AI-enhanced toolsall within a global faith-based educational initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Learner Experience Manager: Assist in various tasks to enhance the overall learner experience including administrative and operational support.
Manage Undergraduate Positions: Oversee and mentor undergraduate student employees providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth.
Evaluate Learner Experience: Conduct assessments and gather feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and identify areas for improvement.
Research External Sources: Continually analyze other fields and academic research to identify ways to improve learning and the learner experience.
Brainstorm Solutions: Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions to enhance learning and the overall learner experience.
Test and Pilot Initiatives: Participate in the testing and piloting of new initiatives providing valuable insights and feedback.
Manage Projects: Take ownership of assigned project
Preferred Qualifications
Current graduate student or recent graduate (within 12 months) in a relevant field (e.g. Education TESOL Learning Sciences Organizational Psychology Instructional Design Public Administration etc.)
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for education and improving the learner experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Willingness to learn and experiment with AI tools
Eligibility Requirements
Must reside in Utah or Idaho and be able to attend occasional in-person meetings in Salt Lake City.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the last 12 months.
