About the Role

As we continue to build upon our success we are currently seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and experienced Netball Club Coaches to join our school community.

Opportunities on offer are on a casual basis. Hours of work include Friday mornings Tuesday evenings and Saturdays during term time.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing professional coaching and leadership to our players fostering a positive and competitive team environment.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

  • Experience in and knowledge of Netball as either a coach (desirable) or player (essential).
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check (if aged 18 years or older).
  • Foundation Netball Coaching Qualification from Netball Australia or higher.
  • An understanding of and commitment to implementing the St Catherines coaching style and the Netball Australia Skills Development framework.
  • Available for training sessions in Toorak 6.45am-8am on Friday mornings during term time.
  • Available for matches in Malvern East on Tuesday evenings and/or Saturdays during term time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to relate well to teenage girls.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish a good rapport with students parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team situation.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
