Hourly pay rate: $20.70 to $35.21
About the Position:
- Operate equipment to produce man-made snow.
- Start and shut down snowmaking guns check snow quality remove ice buildup and maintain equipment.
- Frequently work in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Early October start with training in snowmaking equipment and procedures. Snow production begins late October or early November and continues until conditions no longer require it.
- Seasonal positions available; employment may extend to other departments post-snowmaking season.
- Primarily overnight shifts.
- Assist in staffing special events.
- Flexible weather-driven schedules.
- Skill development and pay scale advancement based on performance. Skills assessment after 120 operating hours may lead to a raise or promotion.
- Must have a California Drivers License be at least 19 years old with a clean driving record for the past three years. Safety Sensitive position subject to drug policies.
- Prior snowmaking experience is a plus.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
