The GE Vernova Operations Management Development Program (OMDP) accelerates development of entry-level talent and capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing sourcing materials and quality) functions at GE Vernova across the Power Wind and Electrification segments.

Job Description

What youll do (Job Responsibilities)

OMDP is a 2-year rotational program consisting of four 6-month rotations that allow members to build corporate energy industry and functional skills through challenging assignments and world-class training. Training topics include lean functional expertise (EHS quality materials sourcing manufacturing engineering etc.) as well as industry and personal development topics.

There are 3 mandatory rotation opportunities every program member will complete:

  • Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor(people leader of hourly workforce)
  • Sourcing / Materials Management (procurement material flow)
  • Technical (quality lean manufacturing engineer / process engineer)

What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • A four-year Engineering degree OR Supply Chain degree with manufacturing experience
  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 (without rounding)
  • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship

What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications)

  • Prior intern or co-op experience in manufacturing and lean
  • A major in Mechanical Industrial or Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to connect with all levels of the organization innovation-driven customer-focused lean mindset team player and accountable
  • A strong commitment to a career in manufacturing / supply chain

Relocation requirement: Most if not all rotations will be in the hiring location. Greenville SC; Schenectady NY; Wilmington NC; Charleroi PA. Must be open to staying in hiring location post-completion of the program.

Upon completion of the program you will take on critical roles within our world class supply chain organization helping to execute on our strategy and mission of accelerating the path to more reliable affordable and sustainable energy while helping our customers power economies and deliver the electricity that is vital to health safety security and improved quality of life.

Additional Notes: Employees with a permanent address more than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible for a relocation package upon joining GE Vernova.

For U.S. based candidates only for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements the base pay range for this position is 81000.00 USD annual for candidates holding a Bachelors degree and 83000.00 USD annual for candidates holding a Masters degree. This posting will be available for applications on GE Vernova Careers until at least July 7 2025.
