The Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business develops and manufactures innovative instruments consumables and software solutions for customers working in the analytical sciences (routine testing markets) and scientific research. We serve a crucial function in various scientific fields including chemistry pharmaceuticals forensics environmental analysis and biochemistry among others. This position will reside and work within the west coast region of the US.
How will you make an impact
The role of a Field Scientist Applications is to provide scientific expertise and support to customers sales teams and internal partners within CMD to resolve sophisticated analytical challenges by applying liquid chromatography and sample prep techniques.
This opening is for a highly qualified and self-motivated individual to support innovative LCMS instrumentation as a Field Support Scientist. As a member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific North American Application Support Team the candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary matrix team that includes regional sales representatives marketing and service professionals product development scientists and engineers.
Primary responsibilities will be to provide post-sales support of recently installed Orbitrap systems in the Protein Mass Spectrometry market with an emphasis on Biopharma applications including experience with Oligonucleotide analysis and protein/peptide quantification.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $75800.00$126300.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
