Job Summary

Position Overview
We are a fast-growing fintech company seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead the establishment of our data science infrastructure. This role is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science experience building data infrastructure and a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful decisions.

Required Skills:

Infrastructure Development:

Design develop and implement a robust data science infrastructure that aligns with the companys goals and technological framework.
Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Data Analysis & Modeling:

Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends patterns and actionable insights.
Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making.

Optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including product engineering and operations to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Best Practices & Mentorship:

Establish data science best practices and documentation for long-term scalability.

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on data science projects.

Innovation & Problem Solving:

Identify opportunities to innovate and improve processes using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related challenges.
