Inpatients Bookings Administrator
Location: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital - Nottingham
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital are currently looking for a driven and hardworking Inpatient Bookings Administrator to join our growing non-clinical team.
Woodthorpe Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England.
The hospital opened in 1877 and has built an excellent reputation for delivering first class healthcare for patients with health insurance patients who are NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
The Role:
Working within a fast-paced administration team that covers the inpatient booking process for patients attending the hospital you will be responsible for supporting both our NHS patients.
You will need to be highly organised as you book pre-admission appointments using the internal electronic elective list. Using our PAS system you will ensure patients are dated and allocated to the appropriate theatre list within agreed timelines.
This role is also responsible for ensuring that all patients attending the Hospital or have the appropriate NHS funding.
Full in-house training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
Strong administration skills (preferably from a healthcare environment)
Strong attention to detail
Computer Skills including Excel and Word
Well Organised
Excellent communication skills working with patients in person and over the phone
Admirable customer service skills
Professional and helpful telephone manner dealing with a high volume of calls
A flexible and positive attitude
