The Esperanza Center provides a welcoming atmosphere social services health services legal support and English as a Second Language (ESL) to immigrants in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The centers staff offers assistance with employment English proficiency legal services and access to primary and urgent health care and referral services. The health services are offered in partnerships with area hospitals and medical schools.
Catholic Charities of Baltimore Esperanza Center is currently seeking a Program Coordinator- HEAL who will coordinate with HEAL Refugee Health & Asylum Collaborative. Responsible for coordinating and supporting Esperanza Centers shared clinical programs through the Collaborative (Forensic Evaluation Clinic Womens Health Clinic Survivors of Torture (SOT) Health Program). Serves as the Esperanza Centers point of contact with the HEAL Refugee Health & Asylum Collaborative Executive Director. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm 37.5 hours per week. This is a Hybrid position 3 days from the office and 2 days working from home. During clinic days(two or three times a month) need to work evening hours.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design implementation and assessment of HEAL programs ensuring effective referral procedures client intake accurate data management client follow-up and continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure timely and complete clinical documentation by collaborating closely with Health Services staff and overseeing schedules for evaluators clinicians interpreters and other contributors.
- Direct the work of HEAL support staff volunteers and practicum students including recruitment onboarding training task delegation supervision and performance evaluations.
- Represent HEAL and the Esperanza Center professionally in all interactions with staff clients volunteers and external partners.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations at the Esperanza Center including supply inventory common space procedures and coordination with program managers.
- Process and track HEAL program-related expenses accurately and timely such as invoices check requests and transportation costs.
- Coordinate and fulfill all reporting obligations for grants and funders including data collection narrative reporting and internal evaluations.
- Assist with maintaining HEALs public-facing materials including updates to the website and social media ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Support research projects training programs and the National Asylum Medicine training initiative contributing to content development and evaluation.
- Serve as a core member of HEALs leadership team promoting collaboration accountability and excellence across all program areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or combination of education and experience.
- Two years of experience in Education Human Services Volunteer Management Public Health Spanish or a related field.
- Experience working with immigrants refugees or other vulnerable populations; familiarity with health clinic operations a plus.
- Competency in a language other than English is preferred (preference for Spanish).

Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and OneDrive is preferred.
