Director of Program Management State of Florida Contract (On-Site in Tallahassee)
Location: Tallahassee FL (On-Site Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM ET)
Contract Type: Staff Augmentation State of Florida ITSA Contract
Duration: Per RFQ engagement terms (with potential extensions)
Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Director of Program Management to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the government services industry. This senior-level role will focus on financial systems process improvement data reconciliation and account structure optimization within a large-scale public sector environment. Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.
What YOU will doRedesign the Other Cost Allocation (OCA) structure to improve transaction recording transparency and enable recurring reconciliations.
Improve fund balance and forecasting processes by realigning transactions and analyzing cash reporting.
Consolidate and streamline OCAs to reduce complexity.
Correct up to five years of OCA history for alignment with the new structure with full documentation of coding rules.
Identify transactions that cannot be realigned document restrictions and create action plans for future alignment.
Deactivate obsolete OCAs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all processes are compliant with state policies and reporting standards.
Senior program management experience in financial or accounting systems within large organizations or government agencies.
Strong understanding of enterprise accounting/ERP systems (state financial systems experience a plus).
Proven success in data reconciliation transaction mapping and account structure optimization.
Excellent documentation process mapping and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Tallahassee FL.
Preferred: Prior experience with Florida s state financial systems (e.g. FLAIR) knowledge of public sector budgeting and reporting requirements background in change management for financial processes.
