Purpose

The purpose of this position offered as a 6 months fixed-term contract is to support data-driven decision-making across global terminal operations by assisting in the collection analysis and reporting of key performance metrics. By standardizing data processes developing insightful dashboards and identifying operational trends the role helps improve efficiency transparency and performance across terminals. This position also contributes to global initiatives by supporting ad-hoc analyses and fostering collaboration between local terminal teams and global operations experts. It serves as a foundational opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in logistics data analysis while supporting the continuous improvement of terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and cleaning operational data from terminals (vessel yard gate equipment).

  • Support development of standardized reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across terminals.

  • Analyze trends and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and share best practices.

  • Help automate recurring reporting processes using tools like Excel Power BI or SQL.

  • Collaborate with terminal stakeholders and global operations experts to understand data needs.

  • Maintain documentation and data definitions to support global standardization efforts.

  • Support ad-hoc analysis for global initiatives pilots or benchmarking studies.

Key Learning & Development Areas:

  • Gain knowledge of container terminal operations and global logistics networks.

  • Learn to work with large operational datasets and modern data tools.

  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a multinational environment.

  • Develop foundational experience in performance management and process improvement

Who we are looking for

  • Masters degree in Data Science Engineering Logistics Mathematics Business Analytics or related field.

  • 02 years of professional experience in a data-related role.

  • Internship or project experience in logistics or supply chain is a plus.

  • Strong Excel skills required; familiarity with SQL and Power BI (or similar tools) is a plus.

  • Understanding of basic data analysis and visualization principles.

  • Some knowledge of terminal operations or logistics/supply chain is advantageous.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative global environment.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Organized proactive and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
