Job Description

The Fire Sales Representative supports the unique needs of the firefighting community by delivering exceptional customer service to Fire-specific accounts and individual customers. This role is centered on building and maintaining strong trust-based relationships with customers understanding their operational needs and ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints. The Fire Sales Representative collaborates closely with the Fire Program Manager and internal departments to meet customer expectations and support the long-term success of the Fire product line.

Key Responsibilities:

Fire Sales Duties:

  • Assist the Fire Program Manager in daily operations and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop a working knowledge of the organizational structure and procurement processes within the fire service community.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Fire-specific end-users dealers and international distributors.

  • Provide expert guidance on Fire packs and related products including fit function and application.

  • Monitor customer purchasing trends and provide tailored product recommendations.

  • Manage order entry processes including preseason ASAP and large-volume orders.

  • Set and manage customer expectations regarding lead times and product availability.

  • Deliver training sessions for dealers end-users and internal teams both in-person and virtually.

  • Support trade shows site visits and in-house customer fittings as needed.

Interdepartmental & Operational Support:

  • Act as a liaison between the Fire Program and internal departments to support both domestic and international sales efforts.

  • Participate in inventory and sales reporting including Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Fire In-Stock meetings.

  • Assist in managing end-of-year orders and inventory planning.

  • Distribute pricing information and communicate supply chain trends or disruptions.

  • Collect and relay product feedback to support continuous improvement and development.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Fire products and their operational use.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and sales systems.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Background in sales or customer service preferred.

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
