MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (may include the following and other duties maybe assigned):
Remotely sells Medtronics products and retains end-user patients within an assignedgeographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locationsto achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
Identify develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads whenappropriate.
Provides input on new markets new product introductions and existing products orsupplies.
Promotes and establishes education of the companys products and/or services.
Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activitiesas well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls data analysiscustomer opportunities and sales rep follow-up.
Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets withinthe assigned territory.
Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decisionmakers including physicians administrators and procurement departments.
Conduct product presentations demonstrations and training to healthcare providersto ensure they understand product features and benefits.
Provide exceptional customer service and support addressing client concerns andensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and productlaunches.
Submit accurate and timely sales reports forecasts and other administrative tasks.
Attend virtual meetings training and conferences as required.

CAREER STREAM:
Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May directthe work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts
involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintainingcustomer relationships developing new customer relationships implementing sales strategiesand closing sales.

Autonomy: Established and productive sales professional managing multiple small to midsize accounts. Sells products and/or services to a group of clients and identifies new andpotential customers. Works independently with general supervision. Builds relationships.
Organizational Impact: Works to achieve individual sales targets within product area and/oraccount by selling products/ services developing new accounts and/or expanding existingaccounts. Has a direct impact on achieving departments sales results. May help to setobjectives or goals for individual or team accounts. Works on larger moderately complexaccounts or have a small or medium-sized quota/territory. Understands market landscape
marketing and pricing structure more influence on pricing structures. Works with salesmarketing and finance to structure complex contracts
Innovation and Complexity: Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in salesprocesses to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Recommends changes inaccount tactics to achieve sales goals. Exercises judgment within defined procedures andpractices to determine appropriate action.
Communication and Influence: May influence parties within own job function at anoperational level. Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation orinterpretation. Communicates with external customers and / or vendors involving negotiationand / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.
Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine workdetailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May provide guidance and assistance toentry level sales professionals and / or support employees.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge gained throughexperience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combinedwith sales experience. Developing professional expertise applies company policies andprocedures to resolve a variety of issues. Requires High School Diploma AND a minimum of 7years of relevant experience or an Associates degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant
experience or a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience andworking knowledge of company products and services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
High School Diploma or;
Associates degree or;
Bachelors degree.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or;
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with an associates degree or;
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when needed
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Business Life Sciences or a related field preferred.
JOB EXPERIENCE
3 years of experience in health care sales sales in medical devices capital equipmentsales surgical salesin-hospital pharmaceuticals sales contracts training clinicalmarketing customer/tech services customer education or other customer facingrole/experience.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Practical knowledge of sales techniques strategies & relationship building
Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results
Documented sales success preferably in B2B sales or health care
Degree in biological science or business preferred
Business planning skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to teach & educate medical personnel peers & technical support personnel
Demonstrated ability to grasp use of technology & applications (ie. iPad
SAP); PC literate
Knowledge &/or experience with hospital cath lab physician settings
Experience selling complex products over the phone
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Extended periods of time doing computer-based work
Hearing sight and speaking ability
